Why that One Thing aint your answer ( what is) - When I Grow Up That One Person youre thinking of working with (a coach? a consultant? a guru?) That One Program youre considering signing up for (a marketing one? a creative one? a money-boosting one?) That One Degree youre contemplating applying for (a writing one? a business one? a therapy one?) That One Business Idea youre maybe gonna buy into (a leggings one? a lipstick one? an oils one?) It aint your answer. I know Im at risk for shooting myself in the foot here, as a coach with multiple programs, all which I hope continue to be boughtbut Im going to continue anyway. Oh sure, you can work with The Person and leave with clarity! And action steps! And inspiration! Yeah, you can take The Program and leave with knowledge! And support! And community! Of course, you can earn The Degree and feel prestigious! And accomplished! And super smart! Duh, you can buy into The Business and aim for freedom! And happiness! And bonus trips to the Caribbean! But whats the difference between your One Thing and success? Its what you do with it after its done. You can purchase my CreativeLive classes (theyre affordable! and often on sale!), but if you never log-in and watch the videos or do the exercises, its not your Answer. You can sign up for 90 Day Business Launch (which opens again at the end of the month!), but if you take your detailed Plan and dont follow the bulletpointed steps each month, its not your Answer. You can commit to  one-on-one coaching, but if you dont do the homework between sessions, and/or if you stop taking action once the package is over, then its not your Answer. Taking your dreams seriously is your Answer. Saying No to commitments that would prevent you from saying Yes to your grown-up, passion-based business is your Answer. Telling your family why this is important to you and what you need from them to help you follow through is your Answer. Scheduling Dream Business time in your calendar and then seeing is as non-negotiable is your Answer. YOU are your Answer. And when youre ready to be your own Answer? Then theres no stopping you. See what I did there? Your One Thing COULD be an integral part of your Answer, as long as you have the commitment and capacity to follow-through on your One Thing even after the One Thing is over.
